LIBERTY LAKE — Chelsey Cate had 12 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots for North Idaho Christian in a 52-37 win over Classical Christian of Hayden at the HUB Sports Center, giving Royals coach Jerry Bittner his 400th career win.
Bittner has won 375 games in 20 seasons at NICS, with 25 coming at Lumen Christi in Anchorage, Alaska.
Kenna Brotherton had 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists and Madison Salaiz eight points and 11 rebounds for North Idaho Christian (12-5, 9-1 MCL), which faces Pullman Christian tonight at the HUB.
Jenny Barnhart scored 16 points for Classical Christian (0-12, 0-12).

Spencer Farrell hit seven 3-pointers and scored a game-high 26 points for Genesis Prep (6-10). Emmaus Nichols and Gabe Meyer each added 10 points for the Jaguars.

“It was a nice way for our seniors to go out,” Kellogg coach Scott Miller said. “I thought we wrestled a good match tonight. Our riding was really good and we did a good job of controlling the pace. Bonners Ferry is a young team, but they are showing improvement and going to get better.”
