PREP GIRLS BASKETBALL: Coeur d'Alene caps unbeaten IEL slate, downs Lakeland

COEUR d’ALENE — Junior Brookeslee Colvin scored 17 of her game-high 22 points in the first half, leading Coeur d’Alene to a 74-43 win over the Lakeland Hawks in an Inland Empire League game at Viking Court on Tuesday. 

Senior Kelsey Carroll scored 15 points for Coeur d’Alene (14-7, 8-0 IEL), which is off until Game 1 of the best-of-3 6A District 1 championship series on Feb. 8 at Viking Court. 

Senior Landree Simon scored 14 points for Lakeland (12-5, 4-4), which travels to Lewiston on Friday.
