I am deeply honored to have been elected Chair for the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber of Commerce for 2025. This opportunity to serve our vibrant business community is both humbling and exciting. As someone who has had the privilege of working closely with leaders, entrepreneurs and organizations throughout our region, I am continually inspired by the innovative spirit and resilience that define Coeur d'Alene.

As I take on this role, I sincerely thank Doug Elliott for his exemplary leadership as the 2024 Chair. Doug's vision and dedication have strengthened the Chamber's foundation. I am eager to build on the incredible progress made during his tenure.

The year ahead is filled with opportunities to foster growth, collaboration and inclusivity in our community. My leadership philosophy is that every individual and organization brings unique value to the table. By working together, listening to one another and empowering each other, we can achieve extraordinary outcomes for our businesses and Coeur d'Alene.

In 2025, the Chamber remains steadfast in its commitment to advocating for local businesses, driving economic development and enhancing the quality of life in our region. I am especially excited to expand initiatives that empower and strengthen our business community.

Our focus this year will be on extending our reach to ensure that every business — regardless of size, industry, or background — knows the Chamber is a welcoming resource dedicated to serving their needs. Thriving communities create, build and support thriving businesses — and the reverse is also true. Coeur d’Alene exemplifies this dynamic and we welcome everyone who wants to be part of it.

Providing resources for new businesses and young professionals will be a cornerstone of our efforts. By fostering an environment where every entrepreneur and organization has the tools and opportunities to succeed, we can continue building a vibrant and inclusive business community.

Advocacy will also be a cornerstone of the Chamber's efforts in 2025. With my background in legislative affairs as the Legislative Director for the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, I am passionate about engaging with policymakers to ensure that the voices of our business community are heard.

Together, we will work to address critical issues such as workforce development, infrastructure and economic sustainability, positioning Coeur d'Alene as a leader in North Idaho and beyond.

Another priority for the Chamber will be investing in education and workforce development. Our economy is evolving rapidly and we must ensure that our workforce is equipped with the skills to meet current and future demands. By partnering with educational institutions and industry leaders, we will create training programs and opportunities that help businesses thrive and individuals excel.

As we embark on this journey, I encourage every member of the chamber to get involved. Whether you are a longtime business owner, a new entrepreneur, or someone looking to make a difference, the Chamber is here to support you. Together, we can achieve remarkable things. I am grateful for the trust placed in me as your Chair and excited to work alongside the incredible members, staff and volunteers who make the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber so impactful. We look forward to a prosperous year, united in our commitment to making Coeur d'Alene a premier place to live, work and do business.
