MARIJUANA FINES: Don’t do something illegal

Response to HB 7: Fine for marijuana will create financial burden

Mr. Clayton, your letter to the editor was quite lengthy about the financial repercussions of someone getting fined for being in possession of marijuana. You expressed your concern about how big of a financial setback it would be for someone to receive a fine that large.

Here’s something you didn’t bring up. Common sense would suggest that if someone doesn’t want to be fined for doing something illegal… don’t do something illegal.

I’m quite impressed some people are unable to connect those dots.
