Hagadone Marine Group giving away $75K pontoon
The Hagadone Marine Group is all about boats.
So next month, it’s giving one way. A big one.
“Our entire company is wrapped around boating and the boating lifestyle,” said Craig Brosenne, HMG president. “We want the best on-water experience that we can for our customers.”
The 2024 Harris Cruiser 210 that will go to someone Feb. 15 is valued at nearly $75,000.
The process to have a chance to win it is simple: Attend the Coeur d’Alene Boat Expo that runs Jan. 30 to Feb. 8 at the Hagadone Marine Center, 1000 S. Marina Drive. Every person 18 and older can enter to be in the drawing, and they must be present to win.
That’s it.
“One attendee will walk away with a new boat ... guaranteed!” according to a full page ad in The Press.
The company is expecting around 7,500 people to attend the Boat Expo that will feature about 75 of the newest and best pontoons, runabouts and yachts as a preview to the summer season. The 2024 Harris Cruiser 210 will be among them.
Admission is free.
Also new this year, Murphy Marine will have docks available for purchase on display.
HMG gave away a new 2023 Barletta pontoon valued at $70,000 in February 2023. Then, about 2,000 people packed the Hagadone Marine Center for the drawing, which was won by Katie Scardina of Coeur d’Alene.
The giveaway is scheduled to take place every other year. The winner this year will be announced during the event starting at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 15.
Boating in North Idaho is wildly popular. There’s a lengthy waitlist for marine slips, and HMG opened a $15 million Vertical Quick Launch Dry Stack facility in 2022 that quickly filled.
Lake Coeur d’Alene’s first and only valet boat launch stands about 60 feet tall, is nearly 50,000 square feet and can house 380 boats within a five-story custom racking system. The top storage rack can handle a 6,000-pound boat.
“Our company is all about boating,” Brosenne said. “What better way to celebrate than giving a boat away to one of our customers.”
