Elinor Patricia Robinson, 88
Elinor (Pat) was called to heaven Jan. 15, 2025, to be reunited with her husband, Ray J. Robinson, parents and multiple siblings. Pat was born in Wolf Point, Mont., on Sept. 10, 1936. She was the fourth daughter of seven children born to Roger Delinton and May Catherine (Kinniburgh) Booth.
After her family moved to Coeur d’Alene, Pat met the love of her life, Ray J. Robinson, during a double-blind date with other people. Ultimately, Ray J. and Pat recognized their chemistry and started their life together by marrying in 1960. Through their marriage, they cultivated a loving family through their children, Michael Morse, Pam Robinson Bair, Vickie Robinson McLellan, Leana Robinson Waldo and Ray Jay Robinson. The love of this one couple spanned multiple generations, including 12 grandkids and 17 great-grandkids, all of whom will miss Grandma Pat immensely.
In her early years, Pat worked hard providing and caring for her family, ensuring that she passed on essential skills and an appreciation of life. Later in life, Pat developed and honed her gardening and canning hobbies. Pat’s yard was the envy of many, and she took pride in creating an environment for families to gather and children to play. Pat would often take the fruits of her labor and give them away through canned goods to further provide for her family. Pat stayed young by continuously staying busy and always caring for her family and pets.
One of Pat’s greatest joys was her relationship with Jesus and the community she found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had committed her life to Jesus for many years, and through the church, she had gained a new perspective on life. She shared this perspective and passion with all who met her.
There will be a celebration of life at 11 a.m. Jan. 22 at the LDS church at 2801 N. Fourth St., Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815.
