JUST WATCH: Confirmation hearings show divide

I watched part of the Senate hearings on Pam Bondi. Although I really know very little of her other than being Florida’s last attorney general, she was very impressive during her Senate confirmation hearings.

These hearings, if you have the patience to watch, will cause you to pull your hair out. Just watching two Democrat Senators, Mazie Hirono from Hawaii and Adam Schiff from California tell you all you need to know, what a joke these hearings have turned out to be. Even common courtesy to let them answer your questions was not something either of them were interested in. Makes you wonder what the people from Hawaii and California were thinking when electing them and are they aware of how they represent their states?

In both interviews, Pam Bondi put them in their place. It was so obvious that neither senators were interested in anything other than trying to get you in a “gotcha moment.”

It seems like every Democrat senator was reading from the same playbook. The same questions over and over. Bottom line, it is so sad to see that both sides do not take these hearings seriously. It’s all about whether you have a “D” or “R” in front of your name.

Power has corrupted both sides so much, they forget they are to serve the people. In doing so they are to look for the best person, that has the best character and the intelligence to do what is best for our country.

If either side were a married couple, they would be heading for a divorce. In this case, it seems like we are headed to a country neither of us old timers grew up in.

There is only one sure savior and it is not our political powers.
