NIC WRESTLING: Cardinals fall to No. 3 Clackamas
OREGON CITY, Ore. — Third-ranked Clackamas won seven of the first eight matches on Friday to beat sixth-ranked North Idaho College 31-12 in a dual between two of the top 10 teams in the NJCAA on Friday at Clackamas Community College.
Jake Hubby scored a 4-2 decision at 157 pounds for NIC. Chandler Loveless won by technical fall at 197 and Ray Griffin a major decision at 285 for the Cardinals.
Clackamas defeated NIC 25-18 at Christianson Gymnasium on Nov. 23.
NIC hosts NAIA University of Providence next Saturday at 6 p.m.
