FIREWORKS: Why aren’t laws enforced?

I want to give a shout out to everyone who has written letters regarding the lack of enforcement for illegal fireworks. I have also written several letters about the war zone on July 4. I also emailed the new mayor about this issue. No surprise, I never got a response. I would also like the Editor to take a stand with the CDA Police Chief and the Kootenai County Sheriff as to why they do not enforce the illegal fireworks law. It’s time they start listening to the citizens who obey the law-not the criminals.
