POST FALLS — Junior Kyleigh Wolfe scored 21 points as the visiting Lakeside Knights beat the Genesis Prep Jaguars 55-39 on Wednesday night at The Courts at Real Life to move into sole possession of first place in the Scenic Idaho Conference.
Freshman Laila Charley added 15 points for Lakeside (6-4, 3-0), which travels to Lapwai on Saturday.
Sienna Williams scored 13 points, Kinzie Lawler 11 for Genesis Prep (8-5, 2-1), which plays host to Mullan tonight.

KELLOGG — Junior Brayden Carrel scored 14 of his game-high 18 points in the second half for the Hawks in a nonleague win over the Wildcats at Andrews Gymnasium.
“I’m really proud of how our guys competed,” Kellogg coach Mike Martin said. “We had a hard time scoring and Lakeland was throwing a lot of different looks at us. We battled the entire game and they made a run late in the third and that was a big shift in the game.”
Senior Mason Hensley scored 10 points, junior Jace Taylor nine for Lakeland (5-5), which hosts Moscow in an Inland Empire League game on Saturday.
Sophomore Ty Cheney scored 13 points for Kellogg (3-5), which travels to Grangeville on Friday.

LAPWAI — Minus one of their top scorers, the Knights fell to the Wildcats in nonleague play late Tuesday.
Tyson Charley scored 22 points for Lakeside (7-3), which played without high-scoring junior Hallah Peone.
Lakeside beat Lapwai for the state title in 2023, and Lapwai won the rematch in last year’s state title game.
In early December, Lakeside beat Lapwai by 20 points in Plummer.
Vincent Kipp scored 15 points for Lapwai (6-3), which has won sixth straight after an 0-3 start.
Lakeside travels to Potlatch on Thursday.
