PRESS: Report on lack of enforcement

Kudos to Nathan Bell’s letter addressed to those who set off fireworks without regard to how it effects the community around them. And to all the others with similar concerns who have written in the past. AND while we’re at it to those who write to complain about the lack of traffic enforcement throughout the county.

BUT this letter is addressed to the editor of your paper. Why not do some real reporting on these subjects. E.g. why not interview our sheriff about his thoughts and plans on these two subjects. If he won’t interview let us know. If he does and can’t come up with a coherent strategy we will see that. And should you happen to publish this letter don’t leave it as just that. I’d liked to hear your paper’s plans to hold such an interview, if not, why not.
