Anderson, a junior, won the 160-pound championship match at the Rollie Lane Invitational on Saturday at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, beating Elianna Santos-Banks of Reed, Nev., 6-2. “Brookyn’s major strength is her wrestling IQ,” Coeur d’Alene coach Jeff Moffat said. “She knows wrestling situations on when she can score and when she cannot. I think her major improvement this year is in her mental game. She now believes she can beat anyone.”
