Two openings on Design Review

| January 8, 2025 1:00 AM

The city of Coeur d'Alene is seeking applications for two vacancies on the Design Review Commission.

One seat must be filled by a person licensed in building or site design, or a registered architect licensed in Idaho. The other seat must be filled by a real estate professional, according to a press release.

The DRC has seven members appointed by the mayor and City Council, and plays a major role in nearly all aspects of design review.

The DRC’s duties include protecting property rights and values, enhancing the built environment, holding public hearings, reviewing development proposals and providing recommendations to the City Council.

Typically, DRC members would serve for a four-year term; however, the two vacancies are for partial terms.

Applications will be accepted until Feb. 3.
