In 1977, she found true love with Dale Wayne Turner, and together, they created a beautiful life filled with joy and love in Northern Idaho.
Marilyn’s legacy is one of kindness and generosity. She was affectionately known as Peach’s, Mar-Mar, Watermelon, GMA, GramCracker and Mom. Those who knew her remember her striking blue eyes and the radiant smile that lit up every room. She touched lives with her simple acts of kindness, decorated countless weddings and offered healing through her nurturing spirit. She was always the first to rise and the last to rest, embodying a spirit of dedication and love. Above all, her greatest legacy is the profound love she shared with her family, friends and church community.
Marilyn is survived by her loving children: Rick (Lynette) Hall, Sherry (Dennis) Downer, Darla (Robert) Cox and Reed (Lisa) Hall. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Julie Creek (Craig) Jackson, Daleen Fisher, Taunia Cope and Ronda Ramsey, as well as her siblings, Lorin Dwight (Vellis) Pincock, Janice Kaye (Cleve) Van Orden and her cherished 97 total grandchildren. Marilyn will be deeply missed, but her love will remain in our hearts forever.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has reached out with love and condolences during this difficult time. As our mom would say: hallelujah Henrietta George; for crying out loud; for Heaven’s sake; quick like a bunny; crud buckets; good night nurse; believe you me; I gotta piddle; For heck sake; shit oh dear; well I'll be jiggered; and our favorite, Sugar Jets!
