Free access at Farragut State Park on Saturday

Farragut State Park's Visitor Center is having its annual Free Winter Access Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The event includes free cross country ski rentals, fat tire bike demos, a guided snowshoe hike, activities for kids and coffee and hot chocolate from vendors. 

Fire pits will also be set up and attendees can chat with park rangers. 

No park passes will be required to visit the park on the day of the event.
