Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Fundraiser set for Saturday

CATALDO — Panhandle Nordic Club's yearly Best Hand Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Fundraiser is set for Saturday.

The event is being held at the Fourth of July Pass Recreation Area. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and costs $12 for adults, $5 for children 13 and younger and $25 for family admission. 

Attendees are invited to ski or walk on the trails "as far as you want" to get five cards for a full poker hand. Prizes will be announced at 1:30 p.m. and were donated by local businesses and Panhandle Nordic Club members. 

Saturday's fundraiser coincides with Free Ski Day in Idaho, so parking passes will not be required.
