Next Zags-Kentucky game will be in Nashville

Gonzaga and Kentucky will continue their men's basketball series at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., next season on Dec. 5.

Tip time and television information will be announced later. Tickets go on-sale to the public on March 7 at 8 a.m. PT at www.bridgestonearena.com and on the Ticketmaster app.

The upcoming meeting in Nashville will mark the fourth in the series between Kentucky and Gonzaga originally announced prior to the 2022-23 campaign. Kentucky rallied to claim a 90-89 overtime win in a matchup of Top 10 teams earlier this season (Dec. 7) in Seattle. Gonzaga won the first two meetings in the current series, 88-72 at the Spokane Arena in 2022 and an 89-85 decision at Rupp Arena in Lexington in 2024.

The final two games in the series are scheduled for Rupp Arena (2026-27) and the McCarthey Athletic Center (2027-28). Before this series, the Wildcats beat Gonzaga in the first meeting, 80-72 in the 2002 Maui Invitational.

This will be Gonzaga's second appearance in Bridgestone Arena. The Zags beat Tennessee, 86-76, Dec. 18, 2016. The arena boasts the NHL's Nashville Predators as its primary tenant. The venue also currently serves as the host site for the Southeastern Conference men's basketball tournament through 2035.
