Milo E. Ehrmantrout, 86

| February 26, 2025 1:00 AM

Milo passed away Feb. 15, 2025. He was born Oct. 8, 1938, to Anton and Luella Ehrmantrout. He had many fond memories of growing up on the ranch on Bowman. The family settled in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and then in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Milo married Judy Wayne in 1961 and had three children: Tim, Terri and Mike. Milo believed in hard work and, in 1968, moved his family to Spokane, Wash., where he began his career with Washington Water Power. He held many different positions at WWP, but his most memorable was working on the dams. He retired in 1998 after 29 years of service. Just like his brothers, Milo loved fishing, camping and telling stories.

Milo married Nina in 1978 until her passing in 2008. In 2009, Milo met his best and brightest love, Roxy. They loved their families, road trips, listening to music and their special friend group.

Milo had several grandchildren, great-grands and very special nieces and nephews whom he adored. Milo is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather Barney; brothers Gene (Betty), Bill (Grace) and Dale (Alice); sister Donna; his beloved sons, Tim and Mike; and his best friend, Roxy.

His life will be celebrated Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Yates Funeral Home — Coeur d’Alene Chapel, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.
