St. Patrick's Day Parade set for March 15

The 20th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade organized by the Coeur d'Alene Downtown Association in partnership with Idaho Central Credit Union is scheduled on March 15.

The theme is "Luck of the Irish!" Parade entries including dancers, leprechauns, musicians, a costumed Guinness character and Irish wolfhounds are expected to stroll down Sherman Avenue.

It's scheduled to start at 3 p.m. at Eighth and Sherman and travel west to First Street. A few hundred people, most wearing green coats, shirts and hats, traditionally come out for the celebration.

All Things Irish on Sherman Avenue is hosting a soda bread and scones contest from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22. Entries are welcome. Info: 208 667-0131
