Wine, Stein and Dine set for March 1
The 28th annual Wine, Stein and Dine event to support education in the Post Falls School District will be from 6 to 9 p.m. March 1 at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.
Attendees will enjoy tasting a variety of selections from more than 85 local beverage vendors that include wine, microbrews, ciders, seltzers and mocktails. Twelve local restaurants and caterers will serve appetizers and desserts.
Live music will be provided by Bill Bozly, Epic 360 Moments will provide a photo booth and guests will enjoy a silent auction and a wine tree raffle with opportunities to win an array of beverages.
Wine, Dine and Stein serves as a benefit for the Post Falls Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports teachers who can enhances program development for all grade levels in the district.
In the past 27 years, the event has raised over $850,000 that has gone directly to classroom educators and counselors through grant requests from the foundation. Each year, about 100 grants are awarded for classroom books, special projects, updated technology needs, science, robotics, chemistry labs, coding and visual and audio tools.
