Two arrested in Riverstone following Shoshone County drug investigation
COEUR d’ALENE — Coeur d'Alene Police located and arrested two wanted subjects out of Shoshone County in the Riverstone District late Thursday morning.
Thirty-seven-year-old Jenna Haynes and 40-year-old Jayme Haynes, both of Kingston, were arrested on felony drug charges stemming from a recent drug investigation, according to a social media post from CDAPD.
Both were booked into Kootenai County jail and will be transported back to Shoshone County within the next week.
The Hayneses were originally arrested and booked into Shoshone County Jail on Feb. 7 following a raid on their home by the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Rapid Response Team.
During the raid, police discovered methamphetamine, powdered fentanyl and other illegal drugs following a physical altercation with Jayme Haynes, according to court records.
Jayme Haynes was charged with three felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, one misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. Jenna Haynes was charged with one count of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and destruction of evidence.
Both bonded out of jail Feb. 7.
As a condition of their release, the pair were required to sign up for drug testing but failed to do so, according to court records. A judge subsequently issued bench warrants for their arrests.
Thursday’s arrests came as a result of collaboration between the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office and the Coeur d’Alene Police Department, according to a statement from CDAPD issued Thursday.
