“Our team came out in the second half and played great defense, and we had a good game plan of getting to the hole and had momentum on our side,” Timberlake coach Mike LaFountaine said. “We figured out that if we take good shots inside, they can't run out on us. Add that to our good defense and rebounding put us in some great situations against a good team. When we went away from that plan, it cost us the game. I am proud of how our kids came out and played the second half, but we can't get down by so many points in the first half.”
Lakeside wraps up its regular season tonight at Genesis Prep in a Scenic Idaho Conference game.
