Hecla reports profit of $11.9 million in fourth quarter

COEUR d'ALENE (AP) — Hecla Mining Co.on Thursday reported profit of $11.9 million in its fourth quarter.

The Coeur d`Alene-based company said it had net income of 2 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 4 cents per share.

The precious metals company posted revenue of $249.7 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $35.8 million, or 6 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $929.9 million.
