EDUCATION: So much for lowering taxes

The Federal Government is planning to shut down the Education Department to save money. Lt. Gov. Scott Bedke says this would impact Idaho schools, but that Idaho property owners would likely pick up more of the tab. Our schools are not now fully funded as required by the state constitution, and now property owners will be asked to pay even more!

So much for reducing taxes.
