COLUMN: Thanks, Mr. Buley

Yes, thank you for sharing the truly inspirational story of Eva Plimmer! (Press Feb. 1). I don’t often expect to open the paper to read such an account about the REAL world — the world that will last forever.

“…and a little child shall lead them.” Although Isaiah 11:6 speaks of a future world, I believe it also portends a truth about our current relationship with God. Jesus said in Luke 18:17, “Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”   

Oh, for a childlike faith which is both simple yet real and profound.
