BISHOP: Showing the president true Christianity

Ms. Sharon Alwin claims the audacity of Bishop Mariann Budde’s inaugural prayer; pleading our new leader and his cabinet to remember to look out for those in society that are marginalized.

That is a ‘caustic, acrid and baseless’ request? I cannot imagine an America where people are NOT in line with the Bishop’s mindset. 

It is frankly shocking to hear anyone describe her service as such. 

Ms. Alwin, is your America now devoid of empathy toward others that are not like you? Others that make you uncomfortable?

She showed every bit of respect to the president that she should have. 

She showed bravery.

The fact that he didn’t like what she had to say and requests an apology says a lot more about him (pettiness) than her message.

This is not a ‘you liberals’ versus ‘you MAGA’ issue. This is about having basic human decency. If that makes people upset, I am scared for this nation.
