'Chocolate Affair' coming up

If you love chocolate, and who doesn't, downtown Coeur d'Alene is the place for you.
The Chocolate Affair is scheduled from 2 to 6 p.m. Feb. 8. The annual event hosted by the Coeur d’Alene Downtown Association offers 20 gourmet and locally made chocolate-inspired treats, paired with a selection of wine as downtown storefronts are turned into pop-up chocolate shops.
"Be able to witness the ultimate chocolate showdown as chocolatiers compete head-to-head in the competition for the Chocolatier Master Award and the Chocolate Connoisseur’s Choice Award," a press release said.
