Hayden Kite Festival slated for Saturday

The annual Hayden Kite Festival is slated for Saturday at Broadmoore Park.

Registration and kite flying will be from noon to 1:30 p.m., and judging will be from 1:30 to 2 p.m. An awards ceremony is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. 

Categories will include Best in Show, High Flyer, Best Homemade and more. 

The Hayden Kite Festival, sponsored by ICCU, is free and open to all ages. The city of Hayden will also be handing out free kites.
