Dale Glisson, 84
In Loving Memory of Dale (Dusty) Glisson
Aug. 5, 1941 — March 5, 2025
Dale passed away surrounded by family and love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, hard work and deep devotion to those he cared about.
In his early years, Dale worked at the Sunshine Mine, where he earned a reputation for his strong work ethic and steady presence. Outside of work, he had a lifelong passion for old antique cars — he loved nothing more than restoring and admiring the craftsmanship of the past. He was a proud father to five children and an even prouder grandfather and great-grandfather! He was always eager to share a story, lend a hand or offer a warm smile. His heart was big enough for all of them — and more.
In recent years, Dale found purpose and joy in watching over The Village Bakery in Hayden. Though he was a volunteer, his presence was invaluable. He kept a quiet, loving eye on everything and everyone. He offered encouragement, laughter and gentle guidance to our community. He was more than a helper — he was a protector, a friend, and a steady light.
Dale will be remembered for his warmth, generous spirit, and for how he made every person feel seen and valued. His absence leaves a hole in our hearts, but his love and legacy will live on in all of us.
