Vandals to host spring football game tonight

| April 25, 2025 1:10 AM

MOSCOW — University of Idaho football fans will be able to get their first look at the 2025 Vandals tonight at the annual spring football game in the P1FCU Kibbie Dome.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m., with gates opening at 5.

Admission is free for the event, which wraps up spring practice for the Vandals.

GAME FORMAT

There will be four 12-minute quarters with a running clock that will only stop between series. The game will feature built-in breaks at the six-minute mark of each quarter with a 10-minute halftime. Regular clock rules will apply in the second and fourth quarters when the clock is under two minutes.

It will be an offense-defense game.

SCORING

Offense can score through conventional football scoring.

The defense can score in several different ways.

A turnover or turnover on downs will result in seven points for the defense. A missed field goal is six points for the defense. If the offense kicks a field goal, the defense will also be awarded four points. A three-and-out equals three points, and a forced punt is one point.

The first team to 28 points will win the game.

JERSEY NUMBERS

Several players have changed their jersey numbers effective immediately. Owen Forsman (48), Everson Harker (80), Trais Higgins (6), and Divine Ibe (90) have all changed their numbers.

Forsman, from Lakeland High, wore No. 20 last season.

PARKING

Parking in lots 34, 57, and 57E on the west side of the Dome and ICCU Arena will be open, free, and first-come, first-serve.

ENTRANCE

Fans can enter through gates one and two on the south side of the stadium. The University of Idaho's clear bag policy will be enforced. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a free schedule magnet.

All non-premium seating is open. Current Bud and June Ford Club seat holders will have access to their seats.

CONCESSIONS

Food and drinks will be available for purchase on the south concourse.

BROADCAST

As is the case with many teams across Division One football, there will be no TV or radio broadcast of the spring game.
