Mrs. Mercurio was born July 11, 1926, in Chiffalo, a small fishing village and Colony of France, in Algiers, Algeria, North Africa.

Mrs. Mercurio was united in marriage in 1945 to her childhood sweetheart after WWII ended, and moved to Seaside, Calif., U.S.A., with her two children in 1954, to join her husband, who had been recruited to Fish the California coast and Mexico, as well as Alaska.

Mrs. Mercurio became an active member of the Assembly of God Church after being Born Again with her husband in the mid '70s and spent the remainder of their life working and sharing the gospel of Jesus to all those who would listen.

Services will be held Monday, April 28, at 10:30 a.m. at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls. Interment will be at San Carlos Cemetery in Monterey, Calif., where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.
