Robert Turner, 59

| April 24, 2025 1:00 AM

Robert Allen Turner, known affectionately as Bob by his family and friends, was a resident of Post Falls, Idaho, when he passed away March 29, 2025, at the age of 59. He was born in Anacortes on May 17, 1965, to Charles L. Turner (deceased) and Rheva Barrington Turner of Bellevue, Wash.

Bob grew up in Moses Lake and Bridgeport, Wash. He graduated from Bridgeport, Wash., in 1983. After high school, Bob served in the Navy for 12 years and was deployed in the Persian Gulf. Following his navy career, he moved to Spokane, Wash. He would eventually settle in Post Falls, Idaho, where he worked as a skilled machinist. At the time of his death, he was working for Tapmatic Inc. He enjoyed his job and the people he worked with.

Bob loved his family and he made sure they were taken care of. He was a great brother, uncle, great uncle and dad to his dog, Lula, and friend. Throughout his life, Bob enjoyed restoring cars and home improvement projects, doing triathlons, working out, and being with his family. He loved his dog, Lula, and spoiled her as much as if she were his child. In his spare time, he was remodeling a home on a property in north Spokane where he was planning to retire.

Bob is survived by his mom, Rheva Turner (Bellevue), his brother, Wes Turner (Spokane), his sisters, Audrey Turner (Spokane), April Turner (Renton) and Jamie Lyn (Spokane). He had multiple nieces and nephews who loved him very much. His dad, Charles Turner, and his nephew, Connor Stegeman, preceded his death.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to SCN8A in memory of Bob.

Bob will be missed by all, especially his sarcastic comments and orneriness.
