POST FALLS — Kellogg’s boys and Bonners Ferry’s girls won team titles at the Genesis Prep Invitational on Monday at The Links Golf Club.
Brodie Robinson shot 81 and was third overall to lead Kellogg, which carded 338 and finished 23 strokes ahead of Genesis Prep. Johnny Stovern (83) finished fourth, and Easton Towne (84) tied for fifth.
Palmer Coleman of Priest River shot a 3-over-par 76 to earn medalist honors by one shot over Brayden Buell of St. Maries.
Byron Hammett of Genesis Prep tied for fifth with an 84.
Bonners Ferry’s girls shot 445, 14 strokes ahead of St. Maries.
Malia Miller of Timberlake was medalist with an 84.

SPIRIT LAKE — Freshman Shae Jones celebrated her 15th birthday by pitching a five-inning no-hitter as the Tigers beat the visiting Wildcats in nonleague play.
Jones struck out 13 and walked none for Timberlake (10-2). The lone runner for Kellogg (1-13) reached on a one-out error in the second inning.
Jones also went 2 for 2 with five RBIs for the Tigers, including a three-run double in a 12-run second inning. Alannah Winland added a two-run double in the fourth, and finished with three RBIs.

ST. MARIES — Peyton Lingo and Jordan Hammons drove in two runs each for the Lumberjacks in a Central Idaho League win over the Wildcats at the new Potlatch Deltic Field at St. Maries High.
The second game of the scheduled doubleheader was suspended due to rain in the middle of the third inning with the Wildcats leading the Lumberjacks 5-0.
That game will be resumed on Tuesday at Morehouse Field in Osburn starting at 3 p.m., to be followed by the regularly scheduled game between the two.

St. Maries’ girls finished with 216 points, beating Grangeville by 101 points.
Lumberjack senior Julien Ceja-Grimaldo had wins in the boys 100, long jump, triple jump and javelin as St. Maries finished runner-up to Grangeville for the boys team title.
