POST FALLS — Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday in Post Falls, according to Idaho State Police.

The crash occurred around 5:50 p.m. at the intersection of North Spokane Street and North Encanto Drive.

A 2024 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited motorcycle was southbound on Spokane Street when it lost control and struck two parked vehicles, a press release said.

The motorcycle was occupied by a 31-year-old man from Post Falls and a juvenile. Neither was wearing a helmet, ISP said.

The man sustained critical injuries and the juvenile sustained serious injuries, the release said. Both were transported to a hospital by ground ambulance.

Lydia Chappell, a relative of the juvenile, started a GoFundMe account to help with medical expenses. He is at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

"As we pray and fight for his recovery, we ask for prayers and strength alongside us," she wrote.

An investigation continues.
