Church displays 'Faith in Action'

The Vine Church recently conducted a “Faith in Action Day” by cleaning up the new soccer fields at Croffoot Park in Hayden as a community service project. Volunteers picked up garbage, sticks and stones.
“Our church loves being a part of this community and serving people in as many ways as we possibly can,” said Kevin Schultz, pastor of the Vine. “Simple things like cleaning up our local parks gives us a chance to show our community that we care about them and that we love our city."
The Vine Church is a ministry and second site of St Matthew Lutheran Church in Spokane. It is at 9140 N. Reed Road in Hayden.
