Vandal men add Vermont transfer Joba
MOSCOW — Seth Joba, a rising junior who played two seasons at Vermont, has signed to play basketball at Idaho, Vandals coach Alex Pribble announced.
Joba appeared in 42 games for Catamounts, shooting 32.5% from deep and 36.4% from the floor in two seasons in Burlington, Vt.
"Seth is a dynamic front court player with a special mix of skill and athleticism," Pribble said in a news release. "His versatility will fit perfectly within our system and he will also provide some much-needed size and physicality."
Joba played with current Vandal Miles Klapper at Bridgeton Academy, a prep school, "and I loved playing with him," Joba said. "But then I got in contact with the coaching staff and was loving everything they had to say, and my visit solidified that. It felt like home as soon as I got here. I feel like I'd be a great fit in this program, and I love the way they play."
Joba joins former Meridian standout Brody Rowbury (Southeastern Louisiana) and Will Jenson (Caldera High, Bend, Ore.) as Vandal signees in the current recruiting class.
