Free spay/neuter event to be hosted by Furry Farm Rescue

| April 13, 2025 1:00 AM

STATELINE — Furry Farm Rescue is bringing back "FFR’s Big Fix" to North Idaho on April 19, offering free spay/neuter services for 30 dogs, thanks to funding from the Idaho Pet Lover’s Fund.

Designed to help ease the financial burden of veterinary care, the event provides services to qualifying households — those earning under $65,000 annually and with valid Idaho addresses. Dogs must be at least 8 weeks old and weigh over 2 pounds. Only one dog per household may be registered.

Drop-off times will be scheduled between 8:30 and 10 a.m., with pickup in the afternoon. Specific location details are provided upon application.

The event is made possible through a continued partnership with Dr. Laura and the Northeast Washington Spay Neuter Alliance.
