CD’A POLICE: Make us safer

Thanks to Chief White and to Bill Buley and the Press for the April 9 article “Just Say No to Political Violence.” 

Yes, Cd’A police arrested and prosecuted someone who threatened a legislator, and another who pulled a fire alarm at a public meeting. And they also pro-actively prevented organized violence at a Pride in the Park, de-escalated events at a recent town hall and last weekend stopped aggressive drivers from endangering demonstrators. 

Being the adult in the room makes one side mad one time, and the other side mad another time. But it makes us all safer all the time.
