Local watch: Manzardo homers in first inning to send Guardians over Chicago White Sox

Kyle Manzardo, a former Lake City High and Washington State star, hit a two-run home run to give the Cleveland Guardians the lead for good in bottom of the first inning in a 6-1 win over the visiting Chicago White Sox.

Manzardo is batting .225 (9 for 40) with four home runs and 11 RBIs and six runs scored in 12 games.
