Free shaved ice on Tax Day

With the motto "no taxation without relaxation," Kona Ice will be serving free cups of shaved ice on Tax Day, Tuesday, April 15.

“This time of year can be overwhelming, so we want to give people a reason to smile and take a break,” said Kim Etter, owner at Kona Ice of Coeur d'Alene. “National Chill Out Day is all about helping our communities relax, refresh and enjoy a little tropical treat — on us.”

Kona Ice trucks will be stationed at the following locations on Tax Day:

• 201 E. Fourth Ave. No. 103, Post Falls, 10-11 a.m.

• 8254 N. Government Way, 1-2 p.m.

• 7006 Highway 53, Rathdrum, 3-4 p.m.
