SHERIFF: Was right to exercise authority at town hall

| April 9, 2025 1:00 AM

At a recent town hall event the sheriff was confronted with a chaotic and progressive disturbance. A controlling decision under “EXIGENT CIRCUMSTANCES” had to instantly be made. The solution was lawfully “DEPUTIZE” several members of a private security company to assist him in restraining a disruptive person and removing her from the premises.

A sheriff is the only elected law man in the state, answering only to the governor and no one else, and can exercise authority in his county at any time.

Accordingly, he should issue a Disorderly Conduct arrest warrant for this well-known political agitator whose premeditated criminal act terminated a public event, thereby denying lawmakers direct communication with those attending citizens who elected them.

A class action suit for some degree of First Amendment rights infringement should be considered by those citizens attending that event.

It is not unreasonable to construe this agitator’s behavior as an intended act of terrorism with mob violence as a resulting consequence.
