Rose Christmann, 104

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved grandma, Rose Christmann, aka Rose’s Avon Shop. She peacefully departed us April 6, 2025, at the age of 104. 

Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Sr., and her three children: Earnest Jr., Edward and Susy. She is survived by her grandchildren: Nancy Myers, Annette Tipton, Lisa Johnson, Angie Christmann and Carolyn Selander; great-grandchildren: JR, Cody, Trevor, Krystal, Timmy, Amber, Devin, Matt, Carter, Khloe and Izabella; and great-great-grandchildren: Jordan, Malakai and Weston.

Rose was a very successful entrepreneur in Avon, starting in 1942. She started in Baker, Mont., then moved to Idaho while continuing her business. Over the years, she won several awards for top sales at Avon. Rose was known for her spicy attitude and amazing outlook on life, which inspired us all.

Rose didn’t want a formal service; the family would prefer any donation made in Rose’s name to Hospice of North Idaho, 2290 W. Prairie Ave. Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815 (www.hospiceofnorthidaho.org)

Her celebration of life will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 2081 Tumbleweed Circle, Hayden, Idaho, if you would like to join the family.
