Robert 'Bob' L. Durbin, 69

Robert (Bob) L. Durbin, 69, of Rathdrum, Idaho, passed away March 30, 2025, in Rathdrum, Idaho. He was born July 2, 1955, in Cottage Grove, Ore., to Chet and Aline Durbin.

Bob grew up in McCall, Idaho, where he met and married his wife, Gabrielle, in May 1986. He was a Machinist/Millwright for Hern Iron Works for 26 years. Bob enjoyed riding and working on his 1947 45Harley, camping, fishing and woodworking. He also loved listening to music. 

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gabrielle; daughter Jennifer in Ariz.; brothers Dan of McCall, Idaho, and Chuck of Boise, Idaho; sister Lori of Mountain Home, Idaho; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; four nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Lewis and Gordon. 

Bob and Gabrielle spent many seasons with their beloved camping family in North Idaho. He loved his animals but was especially close to his dogs.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Mirror Lake Campground in Sagle, Idaho (462 Mirror Lake Road, Sagle, ID 83860).
