LEVY: Vote yes for Lakeland schools

I am writing to express my unwavering support for the upcoming Lakeland School District levy that will benefit our community and ensure the continued success of our schools. My wife and I have proudly worked in the Lakeland School District for over 25 years, and we are deeply invested in the quality of education our students receive.

Four of our five children have graduated from Timberlake High School, and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments. One of our kids is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, another is a teacher, one will be a CPA, and another is on the path to becoming a filmmaker. Their success is a direct result of the strong foundation they received in our local schools.

The upcoming levy is an essential investment in the future of our students. It will provide critical funding for academics, extracurricular activities, and the resources needed to keep our schools strong and safe. We know that a quality education can make all the difference in a child’s life, just as it has for our family.

The benefits of this levy far outweigh the costs. It is an investment in our children’s futures and in the prosperity of our community. By supporting this levy, we are ensuring that future generations have the same opportunities to succeed as my children have.

I strongly encourage my fellow community members to vote in favor of the levy and help secure a bright future for all the children of the LSD272.
