David Lee Vaught, 85

David Lee Vaught, 85, passed into the presence of the Lord on March 26, 2025. Dave was born Sept. 14, 1939, in St. Croix Falls, Wis., to Fred and Annabel (Kuhn) Vaught. 

Dave graduated from Pacific High School in San Bernardino, Calif. He worked in industrial sales for most of his career. He belonged to the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed dancing and playing pool.

He attended the Alter Church, was very interested in the Good Samaritan drug rehab program and loved the changes God made in people’s lives.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Joanne, and his nephew, Brian. He is survived by his son, David Jr., sisters Jan (Ron) and Jeanne (Jim), three stepchildren, Mark Carter (Billie), Brian Carter (Jackie) and Darci Andrews (Joe), several nieces and nephews, seven step-grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren — all of whom he loved as his own. And good friends, Bille and Coleen Tilson and his wife, Audrey.

A celebration of life will be April 12, 2025, at 10 a.m., at the Altar Church, 901 E. Best Ave. Coeur d’Alene. Donations may be made to the Altar church Missions or charity of your choice. Please visit David's online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
