PREP GOLF: Coleman, Kellogg boys win at Pinehurst tourney

PINEHURST — Palmer Coleman of Priest River, last year’s state 3A champion, shot a 1-under-par 71 on Monday to earn medalist honors at the Kellogg Invitational at Pinehurst Golf Course. 

Johnny Stovern shot 81, Easton Towne 84 for Kellogg, which won the team title by 21 strokes over Priest River.

Brayden Buell of St. Maries was fourth individually with an 85. 

Bonners Ferry won the girls team title.
