Housing prices rising

North Idaho's housing market remained strong through the first three months of the year.

According to the Coeur d'Alene Regional Realtors latest report, the median price of a single-family home in Kootenai County through March was $546,035, an 8% increase from a year ago.

The number of homes sold, 488 through March, was up 9.4% from the same time last year, while the number of active residential listings, 885 through April 4, was up 27% from the same time last year.

The number of days on the market, 106, was down 2% from a year ago.

In Shoshone County, the median home price through March was $288,000, an increase of 7.1% from March 2024. The number of homes sold was 30, down nearly 20%, while active residential listings totaled 102, nearly double what was on the market one year ago.

Homes were spending 120 days on the market, the same as March 2024.
