PROTEST: Article shouldn’t have run on front page

Letters to the Editor and your Editorial seem like the proper places for political comments, not the front page of the Coeur d’Alene Press. Your Briefly front-page article advertising a scheduled protest against “the policies of President Donald Trump,” including mention of the organizer’s statement that “Donald Trump is not a king,” belong on that editorial page.

My wish is that we ALL can get our heads together to figure out how to cut back our gross national United States debt of $36.22 billion. That debt will sink our country.

Let’s stop protesting AGAINST and start working FOR solutions to the big issues in our wonderful country.
