PREP BASEBALL: Lumberjacks drop two against Kendrick
KENDRICK — Hunter Wilborn singled and scored on a single by Kris Brusseau in the top of the first inning of the opener for St. Maries, which fell to the Kendrick Tigers 14-5 and 13-0 in a nonleague doubleheader on Thursday at Kendrick High.
Brusseau and Amado Stewart had two hits and an RBI each in the first game for St. Maries (2-8).
In the second game, the Lumberjacks were limited to one hit, a single by Kaiden McMurrian in the third inning.
Morgan Boyer had four hits and four RBIs in the second game for Kendrick (7-0).
St. Maries travels to Potlatch on Tuesday for a single game at 6 p.m.
