Remington book signing on Saturday
Pastor Tim Remington, who survived being shot six times March 6, 2016, will be signing copies of "Gun Shot Witness: The Tim Remington Story," from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sower Bible Bookstore, 1234 W. Appleway Ave.
The book by Amy Joy Hess tells the story of Remington's life that was changed when a man shot him with a .45 handgun outside The Altar Church.
"Tim's story shouted God's love to the world in an obvious, visible way, and it raised a question that required investigation," according to a description of the book. "Why this particular pastor? What about Tim made him a prime target? Why did Satan so badly want him dead?"
Kyle Odom was sentenced in November 2017 to a 10-year fixed prison sentence with an additional 15 years indeterminate for the shooting.
Today, Remington continues to be the lead pastor at The Altar Church in Coeur d'Alene.
He said he feels blessed and looks forward to meeting and talking with people at the book signing.
